In May of 2009 SCEA rescued Fancy from abuse and neglect. She was taken in by SCEA and rehabilitated. She was spooky and afraid because of her treatment. We decided to document the training and rehabilitation of Fancy with videos.

On September 9th through the 11th, 2011 SCEA will be hosting a ground work training clinic at the Westmoreland County Fairgrounds. Cost per applicant is $250 (paid full in advance). You will bring your horse and have hands on advise and training from Scott and his partners. Watch more of Scott here.

You will need the following:

• Horse Bedding
• Stalls will be available for Rent
• Coggins Test
• Signed Waiver for Insurance
• Feed
• Buckets for water

We will provide you with:

• Training Equipment
• Halter, Lead, Stick & String ( available for purchase after clinic )

The Annual Basket Bash is a Dinner and Chinese auction with over 175 items plus. Items are not all horse related so it is fun for all enthusiasts.  The money proceeds go toward SCEA’s mission to Rescue, Rehabilitate and Relocate abused and/or neglected horses. The Basket Bash will be held on November 14, 2010.  Doors open at 12noon and food and festivities start happening at 1pm. The  Location will be at the Millcreek Barn in Ligionier. Google map Here.

Ticket prices are $25 and includes 25 free basket item tickets.  Also Sponsor tables are available for $250. Business will be acknowledged and entered in their own drawing for a prize and attain free website advertising for a year on SCEA’s site.
A buffet style dinner is provided, but we ask for everyone to bring a dessert item.

Here is a terrific opportunity to be enlightened, entertained and inspired by one of the top trainers in the country.  We have 20 free tickets for Sat & Sunday to give away on a first come, first serve basis.
